Training to Create a Safer, More Proactive Environment
Your staff plays a key role in assessing and maintaining the health of your facility’s population. Because your correction officers and other personnel are actively on site 24/7, they serve as first responders to problems that may arise.
While correctional staff do not have clinical responsibilities, our highly skilled healthcare professionals train your staff to better uncover health issues within the population before they escalate.

The IMS training program is designed to help your correctional officers and staff members to identify the following:
- Unconsciousness or semi-consciousness
- Alcohol or drug intoxication
- Signs of severe bleeding
- Breathing difficulties
- Head injuries
- Suicide risk
- Abnormal or advanced pregnancies
Correctional staff will also be trained in CPR and emergency first aid for immediate response in crisis situations until clinical staff are able to take over.
When your team is properly trained and prepared, you are able to be proactive, resulting in prevention of major health issues and even death, as well as the realization of cost savings as a facility due to lowered instances of healthcare-related problems.
Provide your correctional staff with the training they need to keep your inmates safe and out of danger.
